A non-yellowing acrylic medium which produces consistent cracking of emulsion paint to create two-colour ageing and dramatic effects.
Specification
Coverage: 15 square metres per litre.
Application process:
- Apply a base coat of emulsion paint [the colour of the cracks] and allow to dry.
- Then apply a smooth coat of Crackle Glaze brushing in one direction only.
- Allow to dry.
- Then apply the top coat of emulsion paint [thinned 10% with water] brushing at right angles to the glaze using a loaded brush in one pass only.
- Cracks will appear in the top coat revealing the base colour, the thicker the top coat, the larger the cracks.
