Water-dilutable, colourless and translucent coating. In testing we found it to be an excellent texture binder; especially on textiles with matt textures like micafil. It remained pliable and adhered to the cloth and texture well without leaving an obvious residue. It has a slight matt finish compared to Hato®Clar but this can be an advantage as it will give a less obvious if adhering to a matter surface, or binding a more matt texture. Transparent Plastic 1042 is also much thicker than Hato®Clar, think softened butter vs yoghurt.
Consumption: Approximately: 0.6 kg – 1 kg/ m² (highly dependent on coating thickness and application)
It has good elasticity and flexibility once cured and at room temperature, although this decreases with declining temperatures.
